22nd May, Friday to Suntec Convention Centre, Hall 603 at 4.00pm.
The preliminaries and knock out rounds will start around 5.00pm, and 4 top teams will emerge on the day.

This part will be hopefully
The semi-finals and finals will be played on 24th May, Sunday, and you have to report at 11.00am to Hall 603.
Prize giving will follow on after finals are done.

Tomorrow I will be graduating from my course at 3D Sense Media, I am a bit nervous its like I am walking into uncharted territory. But nervous in a good way, for I left everything to GOD. Pass or Fail, I will still be thankful. If I were to fail, I will still praise HIM for I know he has other plans for me. Many might find that I had wasted 25k by failing. But I don’t think so, I gain a talent and I know GOD will cover the 25k loan from the bank. If I pass I will still praise HIM.

I will remain trustful and faithful during this times where I will be scared and insecure. Jesus will look after me. I shall not move, for he is my rock and my fortress. 2 Samuel 22:2, Psalms 18:2, 31: 3 all repeats that GOD is our Rock and our Fortress. I will stay strong with him no… not with him I will stay strong IN HIM. I know GOD will lead and guide me through whatever I have to go through.

Enough about my graduation worries. I haven’t been blogging a lot recently so I shall have a massive recap on my weeks. Late nights, early mornings working on my final year projects, but I always have a restful weekend at Julian’s place. I have been going to East Youth Cell and staying at Julian’s place for 5 weeks straight and the fellowship with him and the cell has been totally awesome. Learnt a lot from him and I thank Julian for being a blessing to me.

Sorry to Sgoon Cell for not attending on Fridays. I think the East Youth Cell is my new chapter in God’s plans for me, I do miss the fellowship there and the crazy members at Sgoon but I its HIS plan. Thanks you Sgoon Cell for helping me grow and I will continue in East Cell.

Before I end this entry on this post, I would like to ask you all to keep my mum in your prayers. She has been under a lot of stress from work and she has been pms-ing a lot at home. Doing/Saying stuff she doesn’t mean. I would like you all to pray that she finds God again… She is totally dried from work and I pray that she finds rest and serenity in HIM. Even if I fail at my course pray that she understands its God’s plan and it’s a higher calling. Pray that he will look after her daily. Thanks.

I heard from my mom just a few mins ago that a relative of mine met my dad. They said that he has been visiting us unknowingly and has seen us in our daily stuff more like stalking us. I am in no mood to entertain some hobbo that has left his family for another woman to start another family. My life feels totally like massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG). Often my life has these elements like; tasks and scenarios involving quests(getting new assignments), monsters(going through Parents,Teachers,Homework), and loot(My clothes, Games, Money).

The development of the player's character is like the development of my own growth. Just like many MMORPGs feature a character progression system in which players earn experience points for their actions and use those points to reach character "levels"(Age), which makes them better at whatever they do.

Social Interaction in my life as a MMORPG.

Teamwork

Many MMORPGs exploit their players' social skills and offer support for in-life guilds or clans(Friends and Family) . As a result, many players will find themselves as either a member or a leader of such a group after playing an MMORPG for some time. These organizations will likely have further expectations for their members

Even if players never join a formal group, they are still usually expected to be a part of a small team during game play, and will probably be expected to carry out a specialized role (such as healing). In combat-based MMORPGs, usual roles include the "tank", a character who absorbs enemy blows and protects other members of the team(The Most Responsible Friend), the "healer", a character responsible for keeping up the health of the party(The Friend that never lets you down), the "DPS (Damage Per Second)," a character specializing in inflicting damage(The Friend who bullies people for the fun of it), and sometimes the "CC (Crowd Control)," a character who temporarily controls the opponent(The Friend who loves to settle down a fight for you),

Sorry for the emo post before, its because I was kind of hurt by what my mum said to me last night. But hey the sun rises and the sun sets, so should every problem they come as they go. Leaving behind experience to handle things ahead.

I have question things like:
Why do we face failures? Why are we faced with let downs? What does GOD want us to do? Why does he put people in our life?

I for one believe that GOD put us through all this troubles and obstacles is to help us grow. And when GOD puts you through such times HE doesn’t let you handle the problems alone. HE lends you some helping hand from friends and family.

I really want to thank GOD for Julian and Justin, these crazy friends yet a faithful ones. They might be younger than me but they have been a blessing to me and to other people. “We are all different in everyway but underneath it all, we are all the same”

I thank GOD for a certain someone, she has taught me how love without reasons and she taught me that love can be a hard yet simple thing. As some of you know I still am into her but its not a vise versa thing. But I am grateful for the experience. “I learnt so much about myself just to know you”

I thank GOD for Joel and Jonathan, my brothers who have been through so much with me, like putting up with my childish behavior and sometimes my lameness. Without them I wont be this determine in life today. I thank GOD for Sammy, Rachel and Joseph, because Sammy is such an inspiration with her drawing that gives me ideas for my projects and who is also my rival in drawing, thanks. As for Rachel the sister who is nearly as crazy as Justin n Julian to brighten my Sundays even though you are vertically challenged thanks for all the crazy times. And to Joseph my so called mentee, thanks for giving me a chance to show leadership in helping you grow as you help me grown. “With GOD, comes good friends”

I thank GOD for my mom, even though we don’t see things eye to eye sometimes, she understands me at the end of it. Even sometimes it is hurtful of her to say certain things, I know she jus says it out of anger and concern for me. After dad left my life she was my world she was my reason to carry on. She was the reason why everything had meaning. “With pampering I grow to be spoiled child but with added scolding I have grown to be a fine young man”

Lastly, I would like to thank GOD for everyday. For every day I wake and for every step I take. I thank HIM for everything he has done and is yet to do. I would have fallen a long time without these people in my life. As I finally understood, GOD when he gives us trouble. Failures or obstacles he is also helping others to grow not just for me. GOD is like the cream in the oreo cookie and we are all like the 2 chocolate biscuits, as for the milk well I can only think its going to be a wet and wild ride down trouble lane. But with GOD holding us together.

For those who I never mention doesn’t mean I don’t thank you for all you done and yet to do. For these people I mention is because they brought me through a lot of troubling times. And I do treasure all experience with everyone.

Where's Dad when you need him

Looking back on what has happen in my life I begin to wonder whether is it a curse or a blessing. Not say that all of my experience were bad, I mean like growing up without a dad even tho he was my hero in the beginning and ending up being hated by me for what he did to my family. Even tho I have forgiven him, it hurt those times when I need him the most, those times when I need a father figure. Or when I just needed someone to tell stuff when I am in need of guidance. I am rather jealous of people right now, having a dad to depend on. Knowing that the family is financially secure. What do I get? A worrying mother, who's like paying for 2 school fees, paying the house bills and everything else.

When recently my heart condition came back. What do I get? A nagging mother who keeps saying about the 21K school fees? Yea instead of worrying about me she keeps blabbering about the 21K school fees, as if I didnt know that is 21K and its expensive and as if I wanted to waste the 21K... and she blabbers on like the diploma is much more important than her son health. Sometimes I just really wish everything had been different, I wished I didnt have to go thru so much. Adding on the insult to injury or more salt to the wound.. things never go as plan.

Sometimes I just feel like running away from everything. Sometimes when I hang out with people like Julian, Justin, Mabel or sometimes even Joel I just have to put on that fake smile of mine as if everything was alright. Why do I try so hard to make people happy or to help them out but ending up going back knowing my own life is as bad is theirs. Maybe its my only way I keep myself happy? Or maybe its my way of living on. I just dont know anymore. The worst thing anyone can do is lying to one self... why do I lie to myself saying everything is going to be alright and ending with a lowest day and to repeat everything over and over.

But the 2 only thing that I am really greatful is real friends and a God who is real.

I finally remember who I am and who I am suppose to be. I am and will always be GOD's child. I remembered that being Christian is not a religion its a relationship. And I'd Rather be hated for who I am, Then love for who I am not.

And I know why he gave me the words Maelstrom and Lion.

Maelstrom represents a whirlpool in everything I do and am about to do. GOD is the center of My Maelstrom.

And for the Lion, I must be that Lion for GOD. Fierce and also Brave in everything I do. That passion to do things and courage to adventure forth.

Back from my busy day as usual but with a problem... I cant sleep, I still got work to do! Haha I think am like driving myself crazy. I sleep less than 3 hrs aday and I am awake for nearly 16 hrs aday! I like mus hav hit the overdrive button or smth. Well so far am been busy doing my Video Editing, Game Modelling and Sculpting, its rather tiring but I will still keep going.. I havent reached my goal yet... and there is no turning back no more.

Anyway recently GOD keeps popping 2 words into my head Lion and Maelstrom. It aint gotta do with DOTA. Also it aint gotta to do anything with the song name Lion on my blog... can someone please help me with finding out what it means... after being prayed for last sat, the words Lion and Maelstrom keeps coming into my head... and up till now am clueless so any smart people please tell me.

Random Thought

Recently I've been watching alot of animes for stoyboarding. And I found out animes like Gundam, Code Geass and Macross Froniter have nearly the same storyline.. well beside the Guy likes Girl, Girl likes Guy.. fall in love. Or whimpy hero in the beginning to cool and overpowering hero at the end of the anime. So what makes the story interesting? The plot "to change something", as in the plan to overthrow an evil empire, or fighting for what they think is right.

Heres one example of fighting for what is right. Athrun Zala from Gundam Seed/Seed Destiny, he is fighting on the side of Z.A.F.T but for what he believes is right. On the other hand his childhood friend Kira Yamato was caught in the crossfire and ends up fighting with OMNI Enforcer against Z.A.F.T each with their own idea from right and wrong.

Well I was thinking, why is there war? why do people misunderstand one another and get into conflict? I know that each respective individual has their own way of thinking of right and wrong. Ok enought of the animes. But look around us, aint we just the same as these anime characters? Drowning in our own foolishness of what we think is right and wrong? I have fought with myself in thought of deciding on what is right and wrong. I always ponded will be my right ways of doing something hurt or cause someone to suffer because of my foolishness. Think about it.. GOD gave us the power to choose but does that mean we drown in our foolishness of deciding on what is wrong and right for us?

I've learnt that GOD made us like that to learn that what we do might not aways be right. Example my burnt sundays, I know is wrong to skip church to do my work, but what about my work? If I dont do it I will suffer in school for if I dont hand up I might not be able to make it to the next phase. But if I go to church I know that I will help the young one grow in the Lord. But by the time I get back I wont have enough time to work. So I guess, I've been rather selfish. So just to take something with you.. or maybe not.. really think hard on your options, you dont have a 2nd chance onces that options done. Some options also might be a hard and unfair one but I know GOD will give me another option after I finish my other options.

Chim? Yea I also find it chim.. but its kinda of interesting that daily thoughts can actually see the world from a better perspective.

Its been a long time since i actually posted something about whats going on in my life so here the update.

3rd Week of school, is beginning to turn crazy.. Loads of homework and load of short datelines to complete it. Tonight I guess I wont be sleeping cause I have 5 Portrait to draw... well lucky tomorrows class only starts at 8pm and ends at 11.30..pm... Oh well gotta get use to it. Am planning to be an Animator anyway... so ya work n lifestyle all have to change haha means less time on games and more time into drawing and animating stuff.

I shall not complain cause there are some people out there worst than me like, Eugenia... feel bad for her last week. I think I might be suffering from a Hedgehog's dilemma. Some of you might be wondering what in the world is a "Hedgehog's dilemma" so here is an explaination of what it is.

"The hedgehog's dilemma, or sometimes the porcupine dilemma, is an analogy about the challenges of human intimacy. It describes a situation in which a group of hedgehogs all seek to become close to one another in order to share their heat during cold weather. However, once accomplished, they cannot avoid hurting one another with their sharp quills. They must step away from one another. Though they all share the intention of a close reciprocal relationship, this may not occur for reasons which they cannot avoid.

Both Schopenhauer and Freud have used this situation to describe what they feel is the state an individual will find themselves in relation to others. The hedgehog's dilemma suggests that despite goodwill, human intimacy cannot occur without substantial mutual harm, and what results is cautious behavior and weak relationships. First Day

Woot! Enjoyed school on the first day! Its filled with people with a common ground! LOL, When I first went in class I thought that most of my class-mates were art students but I was wrong haha most of them are Anime Fans and Gamers. And when I mean anime fans it is not NARUTO or BLEACH is a whole lot of other animes. Well my class has 8 people and out of the 8 there is only 1 girl, 3 Singaporean 1 Malaysian, 2 from Indonesia, 1 from the Philippines and 1 from the USA so its pretty intresting to like hav classmates like this.

Yesterday one of my lect. didnt make it in time for class cos he was in Italy doing some presentation or something like that.. so we had 7 hrs till our next leasson at 8.30PM so went to catch a movie.. haha first day only all hang out together go watch Herold n Kumar Escape from G.Bay, super good movie! Oh ya about my class time table... its totally crazy. I have a few days that I have to stay till 11.30PM then sometimes I cant dont go to school cos of Assignment Period, meaning I can go to school and do my homework or I can stay at home and do then come for the next class. So this friday is the only friday that I wont be attending SGC cos I have a class till 11.30PM. The Following Friday I wont hav any classes but Assignment Period all the way. So if I dont hav homework or if I might hav I jus stay at home and do it.

OMG. WHY IS MY Module ON A SATURDAY!!! 10am till 1pm why do I have to pick games as my Spec.! haha but that will be doing my 3rd term in school so its a long while back... ok off for breakfast then is off to school! keep you guys updated!

Recently I've been watchin a few new animes, here is one of them Macross Frontier.

On the Macross timeline, the story is set on the year 2059. The series features the 25th colonial fleet, dubbed the Macross Frontier, en route near the galactic center.

During a mission to an unexplored asteroid belt, a reconnaissance New U.N. Spacy (N.U.N.S.) VF-171 is destroyed by extremely powerful and fast insectoid biomechanical alien mecha known as the "Vajra", (バジュラ), which immediately begin their attack on the rest of the fleet. Not being able to stop the new enemy threat, the N.U.N.S. colonial defense forces authorize the deployment of a civilian military provider organization called S.M.S., which utilizes the new VF-25 variable fighter to destroy the alien menace.

Good news for gamers round the world, Warcraft is being turned into a movie!!

The plot for the film will take place approximately a year before the start of World of Warcraft, including races you have played and lands you have wandered in, where lots of plot arcs are melded into a two and a half hour story. Haha i am addicted to The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya once again after rewatching it. Its a super funny anime and abit confusing cos you cannot watch it in chronological order, cos episode 2 is epiode 1 and episode 3 is episode 2, epsidoe 5 is really episde 3, haha confusing right? haha its a warning cos if you watch it chronologically you will not understand anythng about the anime. Haha trust me... cos i watch it chronologically and i didnt understand nuts about it. So i had to watch it in this order to understand the whole story 2-3-5-10-13-14-4-7-6-8-1-12-11-9.

After losing Yui, Gendo left Shinji with a teacher when he was a toddler so he could focus on "Project Evangelion." This abandonment has caused Shinji to have little to no self-esteem and to become very reclusive and avoidant of difficult or painful situations, using escape as a shield. He is often shown listening to his SDAT player with headphones, blocking out the world. He appears in some ways to be the opposite of the extroverted Asuka, though not as much as Rei does. He also is shy, timid, and afraid of physical contact, especially from the women around him. Asuka tries to get Shinji to assert himself and even gets him to admit that he tried to kiss her when she was sleeping. In episode 15, Shinji kisses Asuka, at Asuka's insistence; Asuka pinched Shinji's nose so he wouldn't breathe on her and tickle her face, nearly suffocating him. In the original episode, Asuka washed her mouth out thoroughly afterwards; however, the director's cut shows that this was an act, and that the kiss and Shinji's reaction (or lack thereof) mattered a great deal more to Asuka than she let on. Shinji is also somewhat intimidated by Misato (who seems to enjoy teasing him good-naturedly), although her drunken behaviors and slobby housekeeping habits irritate him.

Shinji's relationship with his Evangelion and status as a pilot is very ambivalent. On the one hand, as an Eva pilot, Shinji is very reluctant to go to war, to cause deaths, and to enter battle or to actively do things; on the other hand, he is given strength by his mother (whose soul is contained in Unit 01) and he defines his self by piloting the Eva. Sometimes Unit 01 reaches "berserker" mode - a state in which the Eva is activated without an apparent energy source - helping Shinji in his times of need. During the battle with the Angel Zeruel, Shinji exceeded a 400% sync ratio; he was able to defeat the Angel but was physically absorbed within the Eva, where he briefly met his mother. Shinji himself is unclear why he pilots the Eva, but eventually he realizes he does it for the approval of others:

"Look at Shinji. Why does he continue to fight as an Eva pilot? The story keeps changing. He said it's because everyone tells him to. Because only he can do it. Because it has to be done to save humanity. Selfless and lofty sentiments for sure, and he believed those reasons to be genuine. Wrong; he wanted his father to approve of him. To say he was a good boy. How selfish of him, really, to be a human being." --Megumi Hayashibara[1]

Shinji's estrangement from his father and his mother literally being inside Unit 01 is believed by some to represent the Freudian Oedipus complex. His apparent attraction to Rei, who is a partial clone of Shinji's mother and Lilith, could also be seen as proof of this psychological aspect of Shinji's character; however, his attempts to gain Gendo's acceptance and love and his attraction to Asuka could be seen by some to counteract this idea. He may also be seen as suffering from the culture-specific psychological disorder taijin kyofusho and, from a Western psychological perspective, generalized social phobia (and developing avoidant personality disorder).[citation needed]

While he is acknowledged later in the series to be a skilled Eva pilot, he is never really shown to have any other notable skills, in contrast to the other children (Toji is athletic, Kensuke has immense knowledge of everything associated with the military, and Asuka is a 14-year old college graduate). It is revealed in episode 15 that he is a cellist, something of which he had made no mention previously in the series. Thereon, the cello appears as a recurring motif in the series, possibly representing Shinji's "identity" - indeed, his musical talent seems to be the only way in which he feels that he can openly express himself. He claims to be untalented, but is shown both in episode 15 and in Death and Rebirth playing Bach's Cello Suite No. 1, a fairly difficult piece.[citation needed]

Shinji has often been seen as a version or reflection of the creator of Evangelion:

Shinji does reflect my character, both the conscious and unconscious parts," Anno admits. As a pilot of Earth's most advanced weapon, Shinji is far from the archetypical hero. Abandoned by his father Gendo at a young age, he eschews human contact so that he cannot hurt others, or in turn be hurt by them. The comparison, however, isn't to be taken too literally.
"I wasn't thrown out by my father or anything" he laughs. Nevertheless, Anno has referred to the plotline as a metaphor of his life
